Let’s get to know each other.
I’d like to first address that education has been an ongoing focus for the past five years of my life. I graduated from Lewis University with a degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, and will be continuing on to graduate school to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Yes, I am entirely intrigued by the human body and its ability to move, react, and adjust to whatever stress it may be put under, however, I find that outside of my scientific interests, I naturally admire my surroundings with an open and creative mind - I am captivated by all that the world has to offer. Much of my spare time is spent in tune with life’s elements/offerings - knowledge, nature, hiking, climbing, backpacking, travel, yoga, reading, meditation, cooking, interacting, understanding and consuming beverages over good conversation.
Long ago, I started utilizing photography as a means of capturing exactly what I saw/experienced in my life to the best of my ability, challenging myself creatively with the task at hand. I am a self-taught photographer and have been picking up cameras for around 7+ years now (check out my portfolio). This has been a side career in the making, however, along the way I have been granted opportunities to shoot my own personal interest (outdoor adventures), as well as portraits, engagements, family photos, maternity, newborns, and weddings.
For myself, it has always been important to balance the immediate moment with how much time is spent behind the lens. I believe the experience laid out before me is equally as valuable as capturing it.
For you, I can only hope that you are able to fully immerse in your cherished moments, not having to worry that any memory is un-captured - that is where I can help. I look forward to capturing your experiences to offer an everlasting imprint for generations and beyond to see.
